Qualified Diesel Service Technician Wanted – Emerald branch 

Milne Bros Equipment, the CASE IH dealers for Central Queensland has an exceptional opportunity available for a qualified diesel service technician based in the company’s Agricultural workshop in Emerald.

Milne Bros have a proud 50 year history of servicing the agricultural industry in Central Queensland representing strong brands such as CASE IH, KUBOTA and others.

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to work on a wide range of agricultural machinery including tractors, sprayers, harvesters as well as skid steers loaders, backhoes, excavators, balers and mowers. You will be required to occasionally assist with the training and mentoring of apprentices over a 40hour week

The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and be customer focused, organised, energetic and proactive. You will be working with an experienced and qualified workforce who are passionate about their trade, the agriculture industry and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Position requirements:

• Trade qualification certificate;
•  5+ years of experience performing repairs and working with Agriculture and Construction equipment; (Preferable CASE IH or New Holland experience)
• Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using specialised tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
•  Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment;
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment relating to CASE IH machinery along with basic computer functions;
• Valid manual drivers licence is required;
• Ability to carry out manual labour including repetitive lifting
